Sure Foot Corp. - Headquartered in Grand Forks, the company began shortly after Van Larson developed a non-skid product called Sure Foot, which also became the company’s name. He got the idea for the product when his mother slipped and fell on the ice. Brothers and partners Van and Jon Larson founded the company and celebrated their first sale on Feb. 2, 1984.  Today, the company manufactures and distributes more than 2,000 SKU’s. Some of the product lines include winter traction aids, shoe care, outdoor apparel, headwear and specialty adhesives.
