About
ConstructionSafety.org
ConstructionSafety.org was founded by
practicing design and construction professionals, to
create a web publication that is focused on how projects
can be made safer for both those the build them and those
that use them. The site was created with the following
readership in mind: architects, designers, engineers,
contractors, sub-contractors, manufacturers, equipment
suppliers, facility managers and owners. Now more than
ever, everyone needs to become a knowledgeable advocate of
safety through design, safety in the construction phase,
and safety for the end users of the actual building. The
reason is simple: accidents can be reduced through
knowledge, preparation, and an orientation towards safe
environments, in the design phase, construction phase, and
final occupancy.
